Tru-Ledger Bookkeeping respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to any text messages we send. Effective October 27, 2026.
Information we collect
When you send the contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, the service you are asking about, how you heard about us, and any message you write. We use them to reply to you.
When you use the chat assistant on this website, we collect what you type into it: your name, phone number and question, anything else you choose to tell it, the language you write in, and the chat itself. A copy of the chat comes to us with your details so we can reply to you.
The form also records the page you sent it from and where your visit came from, such as a search engine, an AI assistant or a link with campaign tags, so we know which channels bring people in. Please do not send financial documents through the form or the chat.
Like most websites, we may collect standard technical information such as browser type, device and the pages you visit, through cookies and analytics tools.
How we use your information
- Replying to your message and talking about your books.
- Following up on your inquiry or answering questions.
- Text messages, only if you opt in.
- Learning which pages and channels are useful, so the site gets better.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the business, such as with the services that host this website and handle form submissions, or when the law requires it.
Text messages (SMS)
We only send text messages to people who opt in. Giving us your phone number on its own does not sign you up for text messages. If you opt in, our texts would cover replies to your request, scheduling a call and reminders about it, and updates on your bookkeeping work.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out at any time. Our Terms of Service also apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and analytics tools to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the information you sent through the site. Our chat system keeps chat conversations for no more than 180 days after the last message, then deletes them. The copy of the chat sent to us with your request is kept the same way as a request sent through our form. Contact us using the details below.
